Our Wedding

Our story began on Block Island during a summer that would change everything. Linden was working at Poor Peoples Pub, and Kate was juggling jobs as a housekeeper and nanny. Far from home, two kids found an undeniable connection in each other. As the only two under twenty-one, we spent countless late nights talking for hours, waiting for everyone else to return. Those long conversations became the foundation of a deep friendship that slowly turned into something more.We had an unintentional first date at the “highly esteemed” New York System, where hours passed before either of us realized it. Early in our relationship, we were doing the state shuffle taking turns driving back and forth just to see each other.When the pandemic arrived, and uncertainty filled the air, we made a bold decision: to move in together. Life brought us back to Block Island, this time for a year-round stay. It wasn’t always easy, but those challenges deepened our appreciation for the life we were building and the kind of partnership we wanted for our future.A few years later, we left the island to pursue our careers in New Haven, CT. There, we both found our footing professionally and finished adopting our beloved pets who now make our home complete. Most recently, we moved along the peaceful Connecticut Shoreline where we have found the calm and beauty that feel just right for this chapter of our lives.On Labor Day weekend of 2024, Linden pulled off the perfect surprise proposal. He told Kate a friend needed help building his photography portfolio... but in reality, it was a thoughtful ruse to capture the moment Linden asked Kate to spend forever with him.Our journey has been defined by gallant choices, grit, and unwavering love. Now, we are thrilled to celebrate the next chapter of our lives with the family and friends who have supported us along the way. We can’t wait to see everyone on our special day,
