Our story began on Block Island during a summer that would change everything. Linden was working at Poor People’s Pub, and Kate was juggling jobs as a housekeeper and nanny. Far from home, two kids found an undeniable connection in each other. As the only two under twenty-one, we spent countless late nights talking for hours while waiting for everyone else to return. Those conversations became the foundation of a deep friendship that slowly grew into something more.

We had an unintentional first date at the “highly esteemed” New York System, where hours passed before either of us realized it. Early in our relationship, we mastered the state shuffle, taking turns driving back and forth just to spend time together.

When the pandemic arrived and uncertainty filled the air, we made a bold decision: to move in together. Life brought us back to Block Island, this time as year-round residents. It wasn’t always easy, but the challenges strengthened our relationship and deepened our appreciation for the life we were building together.

A few years later, we left the island to pursue our careers in New Haven, Connecticut. There, we found our footing professionally and completed our little family by adopting the beloved pets who now make our house a home. Most recently, we moved to the peaceful Connecticut shoreline, where we've found the calm and beauty that feel just right for this chapter of our lives.

On Labor Day weekend in 2024, Linden pulled off the perfect surprise proposal. He told Kate that a friend needed help building a photography portfolio... but in reality, it was a thoughtful ruse to capture the moment he asked her to spend forever with him.

Our journey has been shaped by bold choices, resilience, and unwavering love. Now, we’re excited to celebrate the next chapter of our lives with the family and friends who have supported us every step of the way. We can’t wait to celebrate with you on our special day!
